Happy New Year everyone
Today we start another year
Today's a new chapter in all of our lives
As we gather around the TV and cheer
We've watched the ball drop once again
And once again we'll claim to say
That we will strive to change our lives
With something once every day
Now all of these claims will pass
They will be given up at some point
But how much change can happen before then
Now that is all based on your viewpoint
So here is to another year
There's no telling what is in store
I just hope that you can change all that you like
Before you can't celebrate the new year anymore
