I woke up one day
With pains inside my head
I blamed it on the way I slept
As I got up from my bed
But the same thing happened the next day
And the next day after that
And all the days after
Until one day I hit a mat
I woke up to the realization
That what had happened to me then
Was that I had another seizure
And nothing would be the same again
I had tried to warn them
But nothing did come out
And now I'm still complaining
While people think I pout
"It's in your head, my darling"
And although that may be true
It doesn't change the fact
That it still hurts to speak to you
I'm hiding all this pain from you
More than you'd ever think
Just look into my teary eyes
As I look up high and blink
