The Rock of Fury

There one was a rock of fury
It never let anything in
But if you manage to get inside
That's where all the danger begins
The cold unwelcome surrounding
Is just a cover for all that's enclosed
It's just like the thorns on the stem
Protect the delicate rose
The fury inside was a terror
Of all the heat and anger contained
Every bit of fire inside
Is the danger our brains have claimed
Inside this rock of fury
That never let anything in
All that managed to get inside
Regret the danger that they see begin
